Dr. Alison Cockrell is a graduate of the Canadian college of naturopathic medicine as a doctor of naturopathy. Dr. Aly believes that the healing journey that we all experiences unique and therefore it's important to her that each of our patients are treated in a holistic and personalized manner, the naturopathic approach, combines evidence based treatments with individual care, and the consideration, that every aspect of our lives bracket mental/physical/emotional/spiritual bracket impacts are overall health and wellness.
Dr. Alison works with a wide variety of health concerns, but not limiting to just these such as hormone and balances, infertility, digestive complaints, skin conditions, mental health, concerns, and weight management. Dr. Ali has also met the standard of practice for prescribing in Ontario, which allows her to prescribe bio, identical, hormone therapy, dissociated, thyroid hormone and perform B12 injections and IV therapy. She hold the certificate in functional and personalized hormone restoration therapy. She is a member of the Ontario Association of naturopathic doctors and the Canadian Association of naturopathic doctors Dr. Ali in her downtime from her very busy practice at Trenton Integrative Health Centre in Trenton Ontario is found on her hobby farm with her husband, Steve, and young family of four children.
Kelsey first graduated from McMaster University with an Honour's Bachelor of Kinesiology, where she participated in a 1-year internship with McMaster Sport Medicine as a student physical trainer. After graduating, she worked for 3 years as a Certified Kinesiologist in different rehabilitation settings and then went on to pursue her physiotherapy career at Queen's University, where she graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
She has since gone on to continue her education, particularly in the manual therapy field, and has successfully completed her Level 3 certification in the AIM (Advanced Integrated Muscoskeletal) physiotherapy program. She also has training in acupuncture and dry needling, soft tissue release, and pelvic health physiotherapy. Kelsey is also bilingual in English and French. Kelsey has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including acute care hospitals, post-op rehabilitation, and outpatient clinics, however is most passionate in the outpatient orthopaedic setting.
