Andrea DiRocco

Hi! My name is Andrea DiRocco – “Soul Sista Andy” to my son Alex. I’d like to welcome you to my life, my roller coaster life of sweat and tears, lots of lot, black coffee, laughs at myself, soul searching, grit and sunshine.

Here we go…

My 20s, like many of us ended my youth catapulted me into “Adult-dom”. Marriage, a house, two dogs, oh, and a passion to help others evolved into a business that circled me for the next twenty-five years.

My 30s was a discovery of Motherhood. The best team J.A.C.S. (Josh, Alex, Cameron, Sophia) was created. I plowed through with a fierceness that only a “Super Mom” can embrace, that eventually depleted me.

My 40s are now what I call, “My Awakening from a Deep Slumber” of shoulds, coulds, beliefs, expectations, and perfectionism. In my 40s, I hopped onto a roller coaster that eventually crashed. But I got up to hear my voice, let it all go, took my lessons learned and leapt into my 50s.

In my 50s, I am a little bit more…braver, wiser, louder, awoke, more soulful, greyer, slower, contagious, funnier (although JACS don’t think so), compassionate, humbler, open, grounded, grateful, and fiercer – BECAUSE, I allowed my pain and grief and fear to change me.

And this leads me to you, here at Soul Sista Nation. My hope is that you will come and sit down, get comfortable, feel safe and seen. You are a Soul Sista!

Come and listen. Come and speak. Come and just be. Come and just be contagious.

My hope is that through Radical Storytelling, it will shine a light in you. My hope is through my sharing, you too will see yourself, for your strengths, your light, your truth.

There is time, it is now. There is room, for all of us. There is Us, come as you ARE, leave whenever you want to be.

Come…dare to be Remarkable.

Trish Faber

I’m a writer, a creator, a storyteller, and Jane of all trades – meaning there’s so much I like to do and am interested in. One day I’m writing some fiction, the next maybe some non-fiction. Or, I could be puttering away doing some graphic design or working on a website.

Or, I could be out in the backyard digging in the garden or firing up my chain saw and whacking down some branches. You get the idea. It all depends on my mood and the job that needs to be accomplished. I love being an entrepreneur and letting my mind and imagination take me where I need to go.

I am also the owner of “Creative Spark Nation”, a community where people come together to live their best creative lives, unafraid to just be themselves and let their light shine.

I’m game for most things – unless it involves really high places or eating/associating with bugs and creepy critters, and I believe there is nothing better than living your authentic life. Courage, strength, creativity, and resilience are some of my favourite words, and I want to leave this world knowing I’ve done what I can to make it a better, kinder, gentler, and more humane place.

Life is all about what you make it. If you never take the chance, you’ll never know just what you might be able to accomplish!

Andrea and I met in University way back in 1989 and have been fast friends and “Soul Sista’s” ever since. It is my pleasure to be able to partner with her on this journey and take our message to the masses.

I am the author of several books including: “Songs About Life” and “Ghost – The Rick Watkinson Story”.
